1. Who operates GS Sport Photo

GS Sport Photo is operated by Gabor Somogyi. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at gabromedia@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

When you create or use an account, we may process:

• your Sign in with Apple user identifier;
• your name or display name;
• your email address, including an Apple private relay address, when Apple provides it;
• your profile picture or avatar;
• your account status, settings, photo-credit balance, and administrative flags relevant to app operation.

Activity and content within the app

We may process information you create or select in the app, including:

• reactions to posts;
• prediction votes and prediction statistics;
• saved-photo selections;
• profile information and other content you choose to submit;
• records necessary to operate photo credits and rewarded advertising.

Technical and operational information

We and our service providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• device and app identifiers;
• app version, operating system, language, and device type;
• crash reports, performance information, diagnostics, and server logs;
• app interactions needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or improve the service;
• a push-notification device token when notifications are enabled.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• authenticate users and maintain accounts;
• provide profiles, feeds, galleries, saved photos, reactions, predictions, statistics, and photo credits;
• deliver optional push notifications;
• show optional rewarded advertisements and grant the associated in-app reward;
• maintain app security, prevent misuse, investigate errors, and enforce applicable rules;
• operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve GS Sport Photo;
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.

4. Sign in with Apple

GS Sport Photo uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. Apple may provide us with a stable user identifier and, depending on your choices and Apple’s availability rules, your name and email address. If you use “Hide My Email,” we may receive an Apple private relay address instead of your personal email address.

Apple processes information under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

5. Backend, storage, and Supabase

GS Sport Photo uses Supabase and related infrastructure to provide authentication support, database services, file storage, and backend functionality. Information stored through these services may include account records, profile information, app activity, saved-photo records, prediction records, notification-related data, and images.

Data may be processed by Supabase and its subprocessors in locations outside Hungary or the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards used by those providers and applicable law.

6. Push notifications

Push notifications are optional. If you grant permission, we process a device token to send notifications about relevant GS Sport Photo content or activity. You can disable notifications at any time in the iOS Settings app.

The app remains usable if you decline notification permission, although notification-based features will not be available.

7. Rewarded advertising and Google AdMob

GS Sport Photo offers optional rewarded advertisements supplied through Google AdMob. A user may choose to watch an advertisement in exchange for in-app photo credits. These credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be used only within GS Sport Photo.

Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, ad interactions, app interactions, diagnostics, performance data, and approximate location derived from an IP address. The exact information processed may depend on your location, consent choices, device settings, and the advertising mode available.

Where required by law or platform rules, an appropriate consent or privacy message may be presented. You can also manage relevant privacy and tracking choices through iOS settings and any privacy controls made available within the app.

Google’s processing is governed by Google’s own privacy policies and advertising terms.

8. Tracking and device permissions

GS Sport Photo does not require you to grant tracking permission in order to use the core app. Where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework applies, tracking permission will be requested before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking purposes. If permission is denied, ads may still be shown with reduced personalization.

Optional permissions can be changed in the iOS Settings app. Denying an optional permission may limit the related feature but will not prevent access to unrelated core features.

9. How we share information

We do not directly sell your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple, push notifications, app distribution, and platform services;
• Supabase and infrastructure providers, for database, authentication, storage, hosting, and backend operation;
• Google AdMob and advertising partners, for optional rewarded advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services;
• professional advisers or authorities, where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud;
• a successor operator, if the app or relevant business assets are transferred, subject to appropriate privacy protections.

We expect service providers that process personal information on our behalf to protect it appropriately and use it only for the permitted purposes.

10. Photos, profile images, and content rights

Photographs and other media available through GS Sport Photo remain protected by applicable copyright and other rights. Access through the app does not transfer ownership or grant permission for unauthorized resale, redistribution, commercial reuse, or publication outside the permissions provided by the rights holder.

Users must not submit profile pictures or other content that infringes another person’s privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary.

A parent, guardian, photographed person, or rights holder may contact us at gabromedia@gmail.com regarding a photograph, profile image, or other content.

11. Children and minors

GS Sport Photo is not intentionally directed to children who are below the age at which they may independently consent to the processing of personal data under applicable law. Users who cannot legally provide consent should use the app only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.

Because basketball content may include young athletes, parents or guardians may contact us regarding a minor’s personal information or image. We will review legitimate requests and take appropriate action.

12. Data retention

We retain account and app information for as long as the account remains active or as needed to provide GS Sport Photo. We may retain limited records for a reasonable period when necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backup integrity, or enforcement of our rights.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in secured backups or technical logs until those systems are overwritten under normal retention schedules.

13. Account and data deletion

You can initiate permanent account deletion from within GS Sport Photo. Account deletion removes the account and associated personal information from active systems, subject to limited retention described in this policy.

Account deletion is irreversible. If the in-app deletion function does not work, contact gabromedia@gmail.com for assistance.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of personal information;
• request restriction of, or object to, certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• request data portability where applicable;
• lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

15. International data processing

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, processing and transfers are subject to contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards used by the relevant provider and required by applicable law.

16. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, database access controls, and encrypted network communication where supported. No electronic system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your Apple account and device.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in GS Sport Photo, our service providers, legal requirements, or data practices. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
